UMass Student Union marches in solidarity with community, Occupy Boston and labor
to demand JOBS NOT CUTS!
THIS THURSDAY 11/17!


On Thursday November 17th community organizations, labor groups, faith groups, Occupy groups and students will march together to demand jobs not cuts! It’s clear the Washington politicians just don’t get it. Fixing this economy comes down to one thing: jobs. And with a key budget deadline looming, the 99% need to make our priorities clear. We need jobs, not cuts - and it’s time to take to the streets and make our voices heard. Join us for a Candlelight March to highlight the need for real investment in good jobs!

Where: Students will meet underneath the Campus Center catwalk and head to the march as a group. The march will leave from Dewey Square(South Station)
When: Thursday 11/17/11, Students will meet at UMass 3pm, March will begin at 4pm.
What: 99% march to take back our economy!

on the 2nd floor of the campus center, room 2300.
Monday 11/21: 10:30 am, Help fight to save two UMass students from being deported! Student Immigrant March at Government Center.

2) Mission Statement (We as a group will discuss and write a mission statement for UMass Student Union) - 30 Minutes
3) Discuss and vote on what our next campaigns should be. (Please come prepared with proposals for what we as a group should begin working on) - 60 Minutes
