While millions continue to lose their jobs and
homes, Wall Street is raking in tremendous profits. Students are
drowning in tens of thousands of dollars in debt and facing a bleak jobs
market, while older workers are seeing their pensions gutted by the 1
percent. However, people have begun to fight back against the bosses'
demands for austerity-with protests, strikes, and occupations. It is
clear that capitalism doesn't work for the vast majority of people
around the world. Join the UMB branch of the International Socialist
Organization for a discussion on the need to build for another world.
